The best stories are delicious meals. Something captivates us before we even start, drawing us in like a wafting aroma, titillating anticipation. Yet once we delve in, those hopes are exceeded. We feast. We savour. Our senses delight. The aftertaste is a golden haze of satisfaction. We return to the rest of our lives enriched and we look forward to the chance of returning to the banquet in due time.
